Arc People Development Limited Has become a partner of the HRD Group.

We are very pleased to announce that as of September 2008 we have become a partner of the HRD group. This means we are now able to offer blended e-learning ILM programmes. For more information please contact us directly.

Arc People Development Limited has been re-approved by the Institute of Leadership and Management.

We are proud to announce that we have been re-approved by the Institute of Leadership and Management as one of their quality centres offering ILM accredited development programmes. Our current approval runs until 2011… so we’re not going anywhere - just onwards and upwards!!

ILM has launched a brand new suite of qualifications.

You may also have heard in the press that the ILM has launched a brand new suite of qualifications which rather than being made up of small modules are now made up of much bigger chunks of learning - called units. This brings them into line with the national framework for qualifications where people can work towards a qualification (a number of units) or get credit for individual units achieved - just like a National Vocational Qualification (SVQ or NVQ)

We are approved to offer the following:

• At Level 2, there is the Award and Certificate in Team Leading
• At Level 3 we offer the Award, Certificate and Diploma in First Line Management
• We also offer the Award, Certificate and Diploma in Management at Level 5.

As well as the above revised qualifications, we still offer:

• Level 3 Certificate in Coaching
• ILM Endorsed Train the Trainer Award.

Not only can we support you in developing your people effectively, we can also help you to get the right people in the first place through our flexible recruitment and selection service.

You can also use the assessment centre approach for existing people to match people to the right job roles, identify development needs or determine levels of competence. We currently use a variety of ability and aptitude tests such as:

• Spatial awareness - as well as mechanisms to assess personality including:

• Myers Briggs Type Indicator (from Autumn 2008)

One service that we have been providing to a couple of clients is that of a retention contract for a period of 6 months or more to support you in any aspect of people management.
